There are two parts of you that work together to make things happen in your business.
There’s your internal self, which is frequently upgrading its software and deciding how it feels about things. And there’s your external self, which is made up the actions you’re taking and processes you’re setting in motion.
The neat thing is that your external self can take steps forward even when your internal self is not fully caught up.
For a new writer, that means writing that sample piece before you know what the heck you’re going to write about. Or sending that prospecting email to a new client even if you have no idea what you’ll say when they write back.
You don’t have to have everything perfectly in place before you take a step forward. You can still be figuring it out while taking a step forward.
