You are going to run up against a lot of obstacles in business.
Every project you take is going to offer one or more legitimate reasons to derail you from achieving your goals. To entice you to back out, to not finish what you’ve started.
And it totally wouldn’t be your fault.
But… If you want to be successful year after year. If you want to build something that lasts. If you want stability and potential for a real career… you have to build up the character to take responsibility for as many things within your control as you possibly can.
You have to get to the point where a client knows that, when they hire you, you’ll stick it out with them no matter what comes up. Even if what comes up is a great reason to not do well.
