I don’t think it’s possible to be a solopreneur or freelance writer and grow your business past your own personal limits.
For example, if you don’t think writers should or can earn money… guess how well you’ll do when pricing a project for a new client?
The inner dialogue goes something like: “No, they’d never pay that for a writer. It’s just words, what am I thinking?”
One of the best exercises I’ve ever done is sitting down to think about the best things about myself.
When I take my eyes off that perfect future vision of B2BWI, for just a moment, I can see what’s actually in front of me: literally hundreds of writers tuning in every week to see what’s going on in B2B writing. Outside of creating two perfect human beings as a mom, that’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
I want to turn that Goodness Magnifying Glass on you today. What’s the best thing you’re willing to believe about yourself? What are the uniquely you and uniquely good things that you bring to the table as a writer?
